Gaia Theatre, Peru
Fingerman
Danish Premiere
Fingerman is a ‘puppet’ created in the moment by Ines Pasic’s fingers, told through mime, music and animation of the human body. It is a beautiful and magical non-verbal performance for young and old alike.
It is the story of Fingerman’s journey through the four elements; from his birth in the air, his journeys through water and fire and his eventual arrival on earth. Fingerman begins knowing the perfect world with infinite possibilities into which he was born.
Venturing into the unknown in search of his own identity, he arrives on earth.
In this ‘after the fall’ place of humanity, he discovers that he is made of the same matter as the worlds in which he has traveled.
Musical rhythms sustain this kinetic, non-verbal work of poetry, desire and discovery performed on the landscapes of the human body.
No dialoque.
