The Rain Bird

This is the myth about the most beautiful bird in the world, The Rain Bird, which lived in a forest at the end of the world.
People moved into the woods, and they sang and danced in honor of the Rain Bird. But then one day…..
What happens when a little village becomes a great city? What happens when the tale about the Rain Bird and its song is forgotten? And what happens when a small child believes that there still is a place on this earth for the Rain Bird?
In a unique form of theatre, combining the art of origami and story-telling, a puppeteer gives life to paper figures. The folded characters participate in a drama full of magic and surprises.

The performance is played in English, but with Danish simultaneous translation.
